Transparency47 is run by Citizens for Government Transparency. This is not a government website. It preserves and explains public government records so citizens can ask better questions before votes happen.

Methodology

Transparency47 is built around preservation, conversion, citation, and correction.

Source collection

We collect public records from public sources: government websites, official public systems, public posts, public bill text, public votes, public reports, and public disclosures.

Conversion

Records are converted into searchable, structured formats where possible. Conversion should make the public record easier to inspect without hiding the original source.

Preservation

Preserved public government material is not deleted. If a record needs more context, we add context. If a conversion is wrong, we correct the conversion and keep the trail visible.

Citation

Every claim should point back to source material. Transparency without citations is just branding.

Corrections

Corrections should be specific, visible, and source-backed. Send correction requests to corrections@transparency47.org.
